Oregon Legislature Hearing - Wastewater Project

On Wednesday, May 3, 2023 at 5:00pm, the Joint Committee on Ways and Means will be convening for a hearing on the State Budget (SB5506). This hearing offers the opportunity to testify in support of the Capital Construction application submitted by the City of Aumsville. To sign up to testify, visit the Oregon State Legislature site and click "Register to Testify" under the Current Agenda Status tab. Mayor Ceja and City Administrator Harding will be there to show support, and would love to have additional support from those who are able to join. This meeting will be held at the Capitol, 900 Court St. NE, Salem, OR 97301.

The City of Aumsville has submitted several applications for federal and state funding over the last couple of years. In the last few months, specifically, applications have been submitted to the Joint Committee on Ways and Means for Capital Constructions funds, and to the Community Project Funding through the House of Representatives. An application was also submitted for the Congressional District Funding. All of these applications are in process, and there will be several opportunities to show support for these projects at various hearings. Check the website for updates as these opportunities come in.
