Aumsville's City Administrator, Ron Harding​

The City Administrator is appointed by the City Council and serves as the chief executive officer implementing the policy direction and goals of the City Council.  Ron is responsible for planning, organizing, and directing city operations including financial and personnel activities for the following departments:  Administration, Community Development, Finance, Information Technology, Legal and Municipal Court, Parks and Recreation, Public Works, and Police.

Ron has worked in both city and county government for more than 20 years, in addition to a long private sector career. Ron has a degree from the University of Washington's Foster School of Business and Western Governor's University.

Ron and his wife, Myrna, remain advocates for serving the community and are often seen volunteering at community events.

My role is to advance the goals of our community with an open, fair, and balanced approach. I analyze issues in the community and provide recommendations based on current data and experience to help the City Council achieve the goals as presented.
