Community Cleanup Days

Recology Organics and Republic Services have again teamed up with the city to provide, as a courtesy for the citizens, business owners, and city staff of Aumsville*, free options for getting rid of your non-compostable outdoor yard junk and compostable yard debris. Non-compostable yard junk needs to be brought to the dumpster in the Public Works parking lot. Please deliver compostable yard debris directly to Recology Organics. Non-Compostable Items Allowed in Dumpster in Public Works parking lot**:

• Broken Lawn Furniture, Plastics, Outdoor Toys, and Cardboard.

Not Allowed: Household Garbage, Tires, Appliances, Rocks

Compostable materials can be dropped off at Recology Organics: 8712 Aumsville Hwy.

Yard Debris Allowed

• Grass and bush clippings, wood waste, tree branches (4" diameter, 4' long max)

*to drop off junk and debris free of charge, residents will be required to show a valid driver's license with an Aumsville city limits address: Aumsville business owners, a business card. **Dumpster available until full.
