Budget Committee Overview
Have you always wanted to serve your community but not for an entire year? Well, here’s your chance! The budget committee meets only a few times between April and June. The budget process begins in April and consists of weekly meetings as needed, on Tuesdays beginning at 7:00 PM. These meetings may span approximately five weeks, until the budget is approved.
No previous experience is necessary. To qualify, you must reside within the city and not already be a city official or employee. Budget committee members are appointed by the Aumsville City Council.
If you are interested, you may submit an application in person to Aumsville City Hall at 595 Main Street, 97325, or online using the webform below. City council reviews all applications and makes budget committee appointments at regular city council meetings.
