All businesses operating within Aumsville city limits must register with City Hall. Ordinance 702 regulates businesses in Aumsville and can be read here.
To register, complete the appropriate form and submit it to City Hall at 595 Main St., Aumsville, OR 97325. The fee for a new business license is $25. All business licenses—including Commercial, Home-Occupation, and Transient/Peddler licenses—expire annually on June 30th. Renewals completed before this date are $10, while late renewals are subject to the $25 new license fee.
There are several ways to pay the fee:

- In-person at City Hall
- By mail (make check out to City of Aumsville mail to 595 Main St., Aumsville, OR 97325)
If your business will have a sign, you must also complete a Sign Permit Application and pay a $125 fee.
The Business License applies to both Home-Based and Commercial Businesses.
The Transient Business Application is required for transient and temporary businesses, including peddlers and solicitors. This also applies to food trucks operating in the city outside of organized events.
