Christmas in the Park & Other Holiday Events

The City of Aumsville and its community partners hold several events throughout the holiday season. See below for a chronological list of events, and stay tuned for updates in the coming weeks!

Christmas in the Park Toy Raffle

Enter to win starting November 1st until Christmas in the Park

Raffle entry open November 1st until Christmas in the Park. Stop in at City Hall once per household per day for your chance to win toys and games to help make your holiday jolly! Raffle entries will also be accepted at Christmas in the Park until tree lighting begins.
Winner must be present at Christmas in the Park raffle drawing to win. 

Toy Drive

Donations Accepted November 3rd - December 17th
Applications Accepted November 3rd -  December 17th at 4:00 pm
Gift Wrapping December 20th 3:00 pm - 6:00 pm in the Community Center (may end earlier if all gifts are wrapped)
Gift Deliveries December 23rd starting at 5:30 pm

Place your unwrapped toy donations at any of the toy donation barrels around town. Join the Aumsville Police Department to wrap all the gifts on December 20th 3pm-6pm at the Aumsville Community Center. Donation barrels will go out the beginning of November. You can also donate wrapping paper, tape, and cash at the Police Department. To apply, ask for an application at the Aumsville Police Department.

Letters from Santa 

Letters Due by 5:00 pm on December 5, 2025

Each year we assist Santa by gathering their letters that boys and girls in Aumsville have written to him and then we send them on to the North Pole. Submit a letter to City Hall at the counter or in the drop-box at 595 Main Street, or you can fill out the online form here (form is now closed). We'll send a handwritten letter that is customized to your child from Santa. To the best of our ability, they'll receive their letter in the mail prior to Christmas. All letters must be received at City Hall by December 5th, at 5 pm. 

Holiday Lights Contest

Children's Christmas Shop hosted by Aumsville Exchange Club

9:00 am - noon on December 6, 2025   at Aumsville Community Center

Children 3-9 years of age are invited to come to the Aumsville Exchange Club's Christmas Store. For free, they can pick out a gift for each of their parents and have it wrapped right there. They must be accompanied by an adult but the adult will sit in the waiting area with coffee or cocoa while the child picks out the surprise gifts. While supplies last so come early!

Santa Visits

Begins at 9:00 am on December 13, 2025

Santa is planning on riding around town with goodie bags on December 13th starting at 9:30 am. You can follow his route on the Facebook Group: Aumsville Community Connections for more specific times. General start times and route will be posted on the map in the December newsletter.  

Christmas in the Park & Tree Lighting

5:00 pm - 7:00 pm on December 13, 2025

Join us at Porter-Boone Park for our tree lighting and some caroling! Please be prepared for rain and/or cold weather.
